Companion - Explanation of all Default Job Types

Prohire Companion comes with a variety of default job templates. This guide covers what these jobs do and when you should use them.

Job Types

Booking Check sheet – This would be used to go review & complete an Interactive Checklist for a booking if applicable.

Booking Extension – This would be used to complete a booking extension agreement; this job can also be sent directly to the customer, so they do not need to return to sign a new rental agreement.

Booking Payment - This would be used when you want to remotely request a payment from the customer. This will send a payment link to the customer. Once the customer makes the payment this will then record against the booking on Prohire.

Checkout – Used to complete a vehicle inspection at the point of handover to the client. Once the job is completed the booking status will automatically change to ‘ON HIRE’.

Checkout & RA - Used to complete a vehicle inspection & generate a rental agreement at the point of handover to the client. Once the job is completed the booking status will automatically change to ‘ON HIRE’. You and the customer will also receive a copy of the signed rental agreement via email.

Collection – Used to complete a vehicle inspection at the point of collection.

Delivery – Used to complete a vehicle inspection/checkout for vehicle also requires Delivery. A delivery address is required within the booking to select this job. Once the job is completed the booking status will automatically change to ‘ON HIRE.

Delivery & RA – Used to complete a vehicle delivery, inspection & generate a rental agreement. Once the job is completed the booking status will automatically change to ‘ON HIRE’. You and the customer will also receive a copy of the signed rental agreement via email.

Mid-Hire Inspection – Used to perform a vehicle inspection while the vehicle is on hire, allowing you to get an up-to-date snapshot of things such as vehicle mileage & damage on long term hires.

Post Rental Inspection – Used to complete a vehicle inspection and return the vehicle at the end of hire.

Pre-Rental Inspection – Used to complete a vehicle inspection before the customer is present. The images taken on this job will automatically pull to the Checkout + Checkout & RA jobs to streamline the process when the customer is present. The vehicle status will also change to ‘READY’ upon completion.

Rent Agreement – Used to have the customer digitally sign for the rental, this job can also be sent directly to the customer via a link. Once the job is completed you and the customer will also receive a copy of the signed rental agreement via email.

Tracker Fitting – Used to complete the fitting of a tracker device.

Tracker Removal – Used to complete the removal of a tracker device.

Vehicle Changeover – Used to complete a post rental inspection of vehicle coming back and pre rental inspection of new vehicle when performing a vehicle changeover.

Vehicle Changeover & Agreement – Used to perform a vehicle changeover with inspections & have the customer digitally sign for the new agreement.

Vehicle Changeover Delivery – Used to perform a vehicle changeover with inspections that needs delivering to the customer.

Vehicle Changeover Delivery & Agreement – Used to perform a vehicle changeover with inspections that needs delivering to the customer & have the customer digitally sign for the new agreement.

Vehicle Inspection – Used to perform a vehicle inspection when a vehicle is not on hire.

Vehicle Return – Used to mark a vehicle as returned.

Vehicle Valet – Used to complete a vehicle valet.
