A guide that will show you how to enable and disable tracker alerts, and set various parameters.
To access the Tracker Alerts section, from the main screen of Prohire navigate to the “Tracker” tab > View Alerts, this should open up a POL web page.
1. Click ‘Settings’ in the top right hand corner of the screen.
On this screen you will see the various events that you can enable or disable, including Speeding, Unplugged, and Crash detection events.
2. Use the toggle under the ‘Enabled’ column to either toggle on or off the alert.
3. The ‘Actionable’ column relates to whether or not the Alert will have to be manually checked and “Resolved” in the Alerts screen.
4. Similarly to Geofences, you can create custom notifications using the “Setup Notifications” feature. This allows you to send alerts to specific email addresses, roles or users of your choice.
5. The ‘Speeding’ alert is the only alert where you must set the speed at which you’d like to be alerted if the vehicle surpasses that speed.
